Golf Tournament Deadlines

Attention golfers! Jorge Badel (golf tournament coordinator,) is encouraging everyone interested in the Reunion Tournament to sign up sooner rather than later. Jbadel@parks.lacounty.gov

In fact, players who commit by FRIDAY, JUNE 20th will get a prize.

If you're one of those last minute signers, then your drop-dead date is TUESDAY, JULY 15th.

Hey everyone....here's the line up of the weekend events:

• Family picnic at Pan American Park, Long Beach at 1:00 p.m.

Informal pre-reunion-party mixer

We’re seeking your feedback on the location for our informal mixer on Friday night, August 1. With so many choices in Long Beach we’d like to hear where you would like to go. Here are some options:

a) Fun, casual mixed-age crowd, music filled, drinking, dancing place where we can get down and get funky?. (like Buster's at the Marina)
b) Quiet, upscale, mellow place to have conversation with trendy (expensive) cocktails (like Spaghettini).
c) Theme type place where oldies reign and drinks are cheap (like the Hop).
d) Pike - hip, young atmosphere with a number of restaurants and bars within the area (can be pricy with cover charges.)
e) Restaurant bar near the water, no music necessarily (like Joe’s Crab Shack.)

Hey Kids!

After talking with many of you, it became apparent that not everyone remembers our classmates faces or names for that matter. The cause seems to be that, over the years, and through many moves, yearbooks got tossed out, or misplaced.

So, to refresh your memories (or to tease your brain,) I've installed the slideshow at right to help everyone get back up to speed. It is my hope that the names will slowly come back to you, and too, the funny memories as well.

Golf Tournament Details

Hello golf fans! Here is the information for the SA 30-Yr Reunion Golf Tournament:

When: August 1, 2008

First Tee Time: 10am

Fees: $60 pp*

Where: World renowned Los Verdes Golf Course, 7000 W. Los Verdes Dr., Rancho Palos Verdes CA 90274

Format: 4 or 5 person scramble. Requests to be paired with someone in particular are welcome.

Who: Any "Class of 1978" alum, spouse, or guest.

Why?: For fun! Your skill level is not an issue; God created all Saints equal! The scramble format ensures no pressure and that everyone has a GREAT time.
